SIR J. SIMON'S VIEWS. LIBERALS AND FREE TRADE. (Ilcceivcd November 16, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Nov. 15. But, if they considered Labour's tactics, were the free traders sure that if the Labour Party blundered along for another year or two the ultimate defeat of protection would be more certain 1 It seemed to him that tho Liberals' abstentions from voting would make tho reaction against free trade greater.
