'An enclosed swimming pool on the Zambesi River, three miles from the town of Livingstone, was tho scene of a tragedy .which was witnessed by hundred. l ) of residents. A European lad, who was ti strong ewimmer, was seen to be in difficulties hanging from the wire part of a grating. !A man fully clothed jumped into the pool and caught hold of the boy, but loured himself being pulled down and was (Compelled to give-up. A crocodilo on tho other side of tho prating- had seized the boy. When the rescuer was forced to relinquish his attempt ,(ho boy disappeared, His body has not been found.
