YOUR REAL AGE.

BY A PHYSICIAN. How old is a man of forfy ? As old as his arteries, say some; as old as his stomach, say others. There is a great deal of truth in both, but probably the best answer is—as old as his enthusiasms. Tho enormous influence of mind over the body is a matter of common knowledge.

Patients with the same physique will react to the same disease in different ways, but it is hone tho less true to say that a patient who has the will to get well is half way toward a cure. Tl*>so who keep their enthusiasms keep their youth. They have, no time to be ill. They have so many interests that their brains are always active.

Their activity stimulates tho circulation, waste products are thrown out. almost as soon as they arc formed, and the tissues in consequence keep fresh and young.
