LADS SHUN THE DOLE.

A long tramp by two lads who were anxious to find work rather than take tho dole or be a burden on their parents was disclosed at Aldershot recently when Edwin Ogden, aged 19, and Harry Wild, aged 18, both of Oldham, Lancashire, were charged with wandering. • It was stated that during their tramp the accused did odd jobs and picked hops in Hampshire. They arrived at Farnborough, Hampshire, penniless and foot* sore. .ill! The Court missioner said tho lads were respectable, and the magistrates and missioner provided their fares homo and food for the journey.
