» UNSATISFACTORY CASE." DECISION BY CREDITORS. "It is quito obvious that tho whole circumstances of this bankruptcy are most unsatisfactory," said tho official assignee, Mr. A. W. Walters, at tho adjourned meeting yesterday of tho creditors of Philip Schneideman, tailor, now of Christchurch and formerly resident in Auckland. It was decided that subject to the expenses not being above £2O tho official assigneo bo asked to have bankrupt medically examined, to ascertain whether, a3 had been represented, he was unfit to travel to Auckland to undergo examination. A sub-committee was appointed to obtain contributions from creditors toward the cost of tho medical examination and travelling charges, provided the doctor decides that bankrupt may undertake tho journey. ;; . ~
