SOCIAL EVENING.
- A social evening to finish its season s activities was held by the Taniaki Piogrcssivo League in Ino Kingsford Ilall, Otalmhu. Cards, games and dancing provided enjoyable entertainment. A ' 500 tournament was held and prizes were won as follows:—Ladies: Mrs. Taylor 1, Mrs. Laundy 2. Gentlemen: Mr. Bright 1, Mr. Morgan 2. The card arrangements ,\vero in charge of Mr. <T. McLachlan, and 'in connection with the dancing which followed Mr. D. Rawnsley was in charge. Dance music was provided by Mesdames Eddelston and \V alters. Supper was served bjr a committee of ladies.
