The Norwegian steamer Penybryn ariived from Cuba late last night and anchored in the stream. At eleven o'clock this morning she will berth at Chelsea to unload her raw sugar cargo. THE GOLDEN CLOUD. The American steamer Golden C'loud is reported to have left Sail Francisco lor Los Angeles on Wednesday to complete loading for New Zealand. The Richardson motor-ship Awahoti reached Whangarei yesterday morning after a stormy passage from Auckland. She left Auckland at 8.15 p.m. on Thursday and experienced a severe northerly gale and rough head seas, the wind at times reaching a velocity of 60 miles an hour, according to advice received from Captain McLnchlan. I': is the vessel's first trip since she was converted into a motor-ship and the stormy experience fully tested her new machinery, which is reported to have run without a hitch.
