PARAMOUNT WEEK.
The tenth anniversary of Paramotlnt Week will be celebrated this year from August 30 to September 6. During this period, theatres throughout New Zealand, as in other countries, will feature Paramount Week displays and screen special programmes, included in which will bo the following Paramount pictures: "With Bvrd at the South Pole"; "Sarah and Son," starring Ruth Chatterton; "Paramount on Parade"—tho party of the stars; " Ladies Love Brutes," starring George Bancroft; "The Devil's Holiday," starring Nancy Carroll; " Street of Chance," starring William Powell, and " True to tho Navy," starring Clara Bow. Releases to follow at an early date include: "The Big Pond," Maurice Chevalier's latest picture; "Safety in Numbers," starring Charles Rogers; " Grumpy," starring the famous English actor, Cyril Maude, and many other productions.
