APPLE CHUTNEY.
By Request. Seven pounds of apples, peeled, 31b. onions, 31b. sugar, chillies, two tablespoonsful cayenne pepper. Put all through mincer, cover with vinegar, let stand all night, and boil till thick; a handful of raisins or sultanas added and boiled with it is an improvement.
