Tho Richardson Lino motor-ship Awahou sailed last evening for Wluiugarei, where she will complete loading for Sydney. Tho vessel will proceed from Sydney to Newcastle to load for New Zealand. MAIIENO FROM MELBOURNE. Tho Union Company's intercolonial steamer Mahcno was scheduled to leave Melbourne yesterday for Wellington. via BlutT, Dunedin and Lyttelton. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hororata is reported to have arrived at Southampton on Tuesday from Wellington. The vessel was despatched from Wellington on July 4 for Southampton and London, via Montevideo and Lus I'almas. TIRITIRI LIGHT. Tho light at Tiritiri failed at about 10.30 on Wednesday ovening and a launch was despatched from Auckland yesterday morning to effect repairs. The launch arrived at Tiritiri about mid-day and by five o'clock last evening tho light was restored to order. TOFUA LEAVES SUVA. Tho Union Company's Island steamer Tofua left Apia at four o'clock on Wednesday afternoon for Suva and Auckland. The vessel is scheduled to reach Auckland on Wednesday morning. MAUNGANUI FOR SYDNEY. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maunganui, which arrived at Auckland yesterday morning from Wellington, berthed at Queen's Wharf to discharge a quantity of cargo from Sydney. Tho vessel is to be despatched for Sydney at three o'clock this afternoon, taking passengers, mail and cargo. THE ARLINGTON COURT. Tho steamer Arlington Court is expected to reach Auckland to-morrow morning from Ocean Inland. Sho will berth at King's Wharf 4 .0 discharge a full cargo of phosphates to tho agency of Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd. THE LADY LEWIS. Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., adviso that the steamer Lady Lewis left Wanganui yesterday morning lor Westport, having completed discharge of her cargo of phosphates from Nauru island.' At Westport the vessel will bunker before going to Fiji, where she will load for the United Kingdom. HIKURANGI DELAYED. The Hikurangi. which was to have left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Norfolk Island, was delayed for the fitting of another lifeboat required under the Regulations. She will now sail at nine o'clock this morning. Spedding, Ltd., are the local agtnts. SOMERSET THIS MORNING. The Federal Lino steamer Somerset reported by wireless yesterday that she expected to reach Auckland at three o clock this morning from Liverpool. She lias a cargo of general merchandise from \vest Coast ports of Great Britain and she will discharge the Auckland portion at Queen s Wharf "to the agency of tho New Zealand Shipping Company. Tho remainder of Iter cargo is for discharge fit Wellington, LjHelton, Dunedin and Bluff.

PORT GISBORNE TO LOAD. Tho Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company advises that the Commonwealth and Dominion Lino motor-ship Port Gisborne arrived at Clisborne yesterday _ morning front Waikokopu to continue loading for London. The vessel is expected to leave Gisborne this evening for Auckland, whero she will complete her cargo. Tho Port GisbornQ is scheduled to sail for London on September C, via Panama. NARBADA DUE MONDAY. The Union Company advises that the Narbada in flue at Auckland on Monday morning with Eastern produce from Calcutta, I'enang, Singapore and Samarang. per port 3 of discharge are Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel will afterwards go to Newcastle to load for Singapore early in October. After discharge at Singapore the Narbada will load at Calcutta and other Eastern ports during November and December for New Zealand. 'PARANAKI AT SUVA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-shin Taranaki is reported to have reached Suva, at 11.30 a.m. yesterday, en route from London to Lyttelton. The vessel is due at Lyttelton about September 5 and she will also discharge at Dunedin. The Taranaki will afterwards load at Port Chalmers, Bluff. Wellington. Napier, Waikokopu. Gisborne and Auckland. Sho is scheduled to reach Auckland on October 2, and sho is to sail for London, via Panama, on October 7. lONIC TO SAIL. The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner lonic, which is discharging general merchandise from London at Prince's Wharf, is expected to be despatched to-morrow morning for Wellington, where she will unload tho remainder of her cargo. Upon completion of discharge at Wellington the lonic will go to Timaru tp commence loading for her homeward voyage. Her other loading ports are Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui and Wellington. She is to sail finally from Wellington on September 24 for London, via Panama.
