BEQUESTS UNDER WILLS.
SUM OF £50,000 LEFT. DISTRESSED GENTLEWOMEN. [by telegraph.—press association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The McLean Institute for Distressed Gentlewomen will benefit by £50,000 as flie result of the death of Mr. W, F. M. Buckley. Mr. Buckley held a life interest in this amount under the will of his late uncle, Mr. Allen McLean, the founder of the institute in Christchurch. CHEQUE FOR £2500. DUNEDIN KARITANE HOSPITAL. [by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] DUNEDIN. Friday. The trustees of the estate of the late Mr. Robert Hay have forwarded a cheque for £2500 to the Dunedin branch of the Plunket Society. This sum was bequeathed under the will of the late Mr. Hay to the endowment fund of the Karitane Harris Hospital, in memory of his daughter, Miss Amy Hay, who died on June 18, 1919.
