FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA.
Advice that Squadron-Leader Bert Hinkler will shortly attempt to fly from England to Australia, round the Continent and back to England, all -within a month, has been received in Auckland. He intends hopping off early in September, and will be accompanied by Captain Mcintosh, who has been associated with the Australian airman on previous longdistance flights, and is a very experienced and well-known pilot. The two aviators once attempted a world's non-stop endurance record, but had a forced landing at Warsaw. They will fly a tri-motor Fokker Avro 10, with three ArmstrongSiddeley engines of 220-240 h.p. each.
