BEAUTY AND THE BASKET.

Why do men. dislike tall vases on the dinner table ? Perhaps it is because they like to see our faces! says n writer. The other night I heard a husband congratulate his wife on " the latest improvement." This was something very charming in the way of table decoration. Just a low, gilded basket filled with wild flowers which appeared to be growing in mass.
