WEDDINGS.
JENKINS-HIGGINS. The marriage took place this week at St. Matthew's Church, of Miss Elva Amelia Higgins, second daughter of Mrs. Webster, of Grey Lyrin, to Mr. Ronald Henry Jenkins, only son of Mrs. Dunn, Svmonds Street, Auckland. The Rev. Grant Cowcn performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church with her grandfather, Mr. Goodenough, who subsequently gave her away, wore a sleeveless frock of silk net over silver lame, the slightly-flared skirt showing four peaks reaching to the ankles. A spray of orange blossom ornamented one shoulder. The veil of embroidered tulle fell from a small lace cap, and was fastened with sprays of orange blossom at each side. She carried a shower bouquet oi white flowers. Miss Elsie Edgar attended as chief bridesmaid, wearing a sleeveless lace frock of peach blossom pink, the skirt made with four long peaks. A largo bow of pale green tulle finished at the waist line, and a pink tulle headdress was also worn. She carried a bouquet of pink carnations, anemones and maidenhair fern. Miss Doris Allen, the second bridesmaid, was in a lettuce-green lace sleeveless frock, similarly fashioned, and a tulle headdress, toning with her frock was also worn. She carried a bouquet of mauve stocks and sweetpeas. Little Aldwyth Dunn was flower-girl, and wore u frock of frilled primrose crepe de chine, picot-edged, and a taffeta cap to match. She carried a posy of pale pink sweetpeas. Mr. Dick Ossley was best man and Mr. Hugh Eaton groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Penrith Tearooms. Mrs. Webster received her guests wearing a frock of apricot embossed georgette, and hat to tone. She carried a bouquet of anemones and fern. Mrs. Dunn, tho bridegroom's mother, wore black'satin relieved with white, and small black and white hat. Her bouquet was of violets and mauve anemones. REID—MURRAY. The marriage took place in St. James' Presbyterian Church, Tukekohe, on Wednesday, of Miss Olive Evelyn Murray, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Murray, of Buckland, to Mr. William Gilbert Reid. eldest son of Mrs. and tho late Mr. 11. Reid, of Otnhulni. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of ivory crepe do chine with uneven hem of silver laco, and long sleeves of embroidered silk. Iler veil was caught to the bend with orange blossoms and fell to form a train. Sho carried a bouquet of white camellias, daphne, and maidenhair fern. Tho bridesmaid was Miss Linda Murray. Her frock was of powder blue soie do chine, with flared flounces dipping at the sides and back. Her head-dress was of blue tulle studded with silver rosebuds, and her bouquet was of daffodils and maidenhair fern. Mr. Robert Bavorstock was best man.
