Iri the quarter-finals of the women's national tennis singles at Forest Hills Baroness Georgia Giacomo Levi, of Italy, formerly Miss Maud Hosenbaum, of Chicago, who is the find of the women's tennis season, defeated Miss Penelope Anderson, of Richmond, Va., 4—6, 6—4. 7—5. Mrs. Anna Harper, of San Francisco, defeated Miss Mary Greef, of Kansas Cky, 3—6, 6—J, 6 —4. Miss Betty Nuthall defeated Miss Dorothy Weisel, of California, 6—l, 6—l. Miss Marjorio Morrill defeated Miss Ethel Burkhardt (California), 4—6, 6—3, 6-2.
