BOWLING.

THE PONSONBY CLUB. PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. There was a large attendance of members and visitors at the annual prize night of the Ponsonby Bowling Club. The president of tho dub. Mr. L. S. Kelly, presided. After the National Anjthem had Leon sung those present stood in silence as a mark of respect lo the memory of/ tho lale Mr. S. W. Miller, a member of the club. Among those present wer6 Mr. J. M. Thomson, president of the Auckland Centre, and members of tl/o executive.

The prizes won. last season were presented to the following by Mr. Thomson Champion singles, E. Jury; run-ner-up, A. J. Letharn; champion pairs, A. Crowe and H. S. Hill; percentage lours, J. Carlaw, C'alder, Stevenson and K. S. Somervell; club pairs, F. Letham, F. Oates; handicap singles, R. Carbines. Musical items were rendered by the following Messrs. G. Swan, F Carbines, R. Wilson, N. Day, E. Casey and D. Jflood.
