Dr. and Mrs. G. L. Young, and Mr. and Mrs. H. Underwood, of Wellington, arc at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. H. Carlon-Britton, of Rotorua, and Mr. L. Geo and Mr. L. Martin, of Thames, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. W. E. Parry, Mr. W. J. Jordan, Mr. M. J. Savage and Mr. H. G. R. Mason, M.P.'s, left for Wellington last evening.
Mr. T. E. Chisnall and Mr. A. E. Stock, of Christchurch, Mr. J. Managh, of Rotorua, and Mr. R. Wallace, of Napier, are at the Star Hotel.
Mr. W. J. Holdsworth left for Wellington last evening to attend a meeting of the Local Government Loans Board. Ho will return to Auckland on Thursday.
Mr. A. E. Cookson, of Auckland, who was injured in y a railway level crossing accident at Tirau on July 29, is still in hospital at Rotorua, but is progressing favourably.
Mr. R. C. Burgess, Mr. F. S. Salinger and Mr. J. E. Lilico, of Wellington, Mr. H. 0. Cooney and Mr. H. B. Cuff, of Te Puke, Mr. C. Rawles, of Waitara, and Mr. C. Johnstone, of Whatawhata, are at the Central Hotel.
Dr. H. V. Roelir and Mr. P. X. Borkcnheimer, of Mexico. Mr. F. Asner, of Los Angeles, Mr. D. Hughes and Mr. R. Tait, of Sydney, Mr. G. N. Peters, of Christchurch, and Mr. L. Nelson, of Wellington, are at the Hotel Cargen.
Mr. Frank Graham, chairman of ths Christ-church Stock Exchange, who has returned from a holiday visit to Honolulu, is at the Grand Hotel. He is accompanied by Mrs. Graham. Thej; will leave for Christchurch this evening.

Mr. J. Montgomery, chairman of directors of the Christchurch Press Company and deputy-chairman of the New Zealand Refrigerating .Company, Christchurch, who arrived by the Aorangi on Sunday after spending two months on the Pacific Coast of America, left for Christchurch last evening. He was accompanied by Mrs. Montgomery.

Reid, of Dunedin, Mr. J. S. Macarthur, and Mr. W. T. Cuthbertson, of Wellington, Mr. V. Riddiford, of Lower Hutt, and Mr. Noel'Laver, of Christchurch, are at the Grand Hotel.
