GAME AT WHANGAREI TO-DAY. RECORD CROWD ANTICIPATED. [by telegram.—own correspondent.] "WHANGABEI. Tuesday. There lias been a large influx of visitors to "Whangarei to witness the Rugby match between Britain and North Auckland to-morrow. The day was gloriously fine. The ground is dry and in excellent order and with every prospect of another fine clay a record crowd should be present to-morrow at Rugby Park, where seating accommodation has been provided for over 3000 people. This morning the British team did light training and in the afternoon was motored out in the country.

MATCH AT HAMILTON. ALL RESERVED SEATS SOLD. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Tuesday. The 1000 reserved seats available at Rugby Park, Hamilton, for the match between Britain and the combined Wai-kato-King Country-Thames Valley team on Saturday, were sold between 8 a.m. and noon to-day. A limit of two tickets to each applicant was made. There is further seating accommodation for another 1000 at the park, the tickets for which will be sold on the ground before ihe fixture. The area surrounding the playing field at Rugby Park has been terraced, and it is estimated it will accommodate 10,000 people. The field is in excellent order.

REMARKS BY MR. McKENZIE. NEW ZEALAND UNION'S ACTION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union has sent a letter to Mr. J. Baxter, manager of the British team, dissociating itself from the remarks made by Mr. E. McKenzie, manager of the New Zealand team, at the test match dinner in Auckland. Mr. McKenzie criticised the tactics of Ihe British team.
