THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS.
SUGGESTED LATER DATES. SUPPORT BY EDUCATION COUNCIL [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. Tho Council of Education to-day approved of Sir Thomas Sidey's suggestion that the main summer school holidays should bo held in February. The council recommended that the matter should bo referred for consideration to the governing bodies of tho universities, secondary, technical and primary schools, and to the teachers' associations. Theso bodies are to be asked to communicate their viows to the council, -so that tho matter may bo considered at tho next meeting.
