It is understood that Sydnoy has just completed negotiations for the flotation of a loan in New York.

Messrs. Blair and Company state that they are negotiating the loan, but declined to indicate the terms at the present time. MATTER NOT COMPLETED. COMMISSIONERS ACTING. (Received February 5, 11.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 5. Regarding the message from New York, that .Sydney had just completed negotiations for a loan there, inquiries of the Sydney Civic Commissioners elicited the information that although arrangements were being made for a loan there, no information was available concerning it.
