WESTERN SPRINGS MEETING. The mid-weekly races conducted by the Manukau Amateur and Auckland Cycle Clubs were held at Western Springs Stadium last evening. Following were the results:— Three Laps Amateur Junior Handicap,.— L. Oxton. :50yds, J : A. Bowen, 50yds, 2; C. Bearl. 30yds, 3. Won by a length, lime, 2m 2 2-ss. . ~ 1T Six Laps Amateur Senior Handicap.—ii. D.wight, -10 yds. 1: F. Casey. SOyds, and A. Mackie. scr, dead heat. 2. Won by two and a-lialf lengths. Time, 4m 11 2-Ss. Five Laps Professional Handicap.—\>. Mathieson. WOyds, 1; K. Mathieson, GOyds, 2- C Yule, MOyds, 3. A good finish, won by three inches, a wheel separating second and third. Time, 3m 4-1 l-ss.
