OBITUARY.
MR. ALBERT NISBET
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN* CORRESPONDENT.] KAIKOHE. Wednesday.
The death occurred suddenly on Mon, day afternoon of Mr. Albert Nisbet, of Matarana, near Kaikoho. lie was born 67 years ago in the Whangaroa district, and' at tho age of 15 years accepted, in partnership with one of his brothers, bush contracts in tho Northern Wairoa district. On his return to Whangaroa he engaged in farming in addition to bush work. Ho took an active interest in local affairs, being a member at one time of the Whangaroa County Council, and was chiefly instrumental in forming tho Whangaroa Dairy Company. He was also a member of the local Masonic Lodge. About ten years ago he sold his interests in tho Whangaroa district and took up a farm near Kaikohe. Mr. Nisbet's wife died 15 years ago. He is survived by ono daughter, Mrs. F. H. Swales, of Ruawai, and three sons, Messrs. A. E. Nisbet, of New Plymouth, L. Nisbet, of Mocrcwa, and B. Nisbet, of Knikohe.
