JERSEY CLUB SALE.
Mr. 'C. H. Weston, of New Plymouth, will have a very choice lot of females at the Jersey Club sale to be held at New Plymouth i" June. His prefix "Meon" is now appearing in tlio C.O.R. lists in respect of tests, done by purchasers of his stock. Pcßfiy'? Square, a son of Lady Peggv by Holly Bank Squire, has given Mr. Weston a" heard of great testers, and the lino breeding is carried on by a Holly Banlc Squire, Majesty's Fox and Beachland's Commander bull Treasure's Majesty. Mr. Weston has a very beautiful farm just outside New Plymouth, and anything he sells seems to do well in the purchaser's hands. Perhaps the fact that he came fourth out of 90 entries for the pasture competition in North Taranaki explains why his slock do so well. lie ;ilso believes in concentrates and says hard feeding keeps the mother healthy during gestation, and gives the calf a good start in life. Certainly ho has a verv nice line of calves each year, (showing" plenty of type and constitution.— Auvt.
