SWORDFISH AND MAKO. ANGLERS IN THE NORTH. [BY TELEGIIAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] RUSSELL. Wednesday. Fishing from tho Jaunch Otehei yesterday, Air. C.' Stewart, of Siugapore, who is camping at Urupukapuka Island, landed a mako shark weighing 2831b.' Mr. G. A. Burgc, of London, who, is operating from Deep Water Cove, caught a swoi'dfish of 2061b from the launch Zanc Gray. His companion, Mr. Pickthall, of Ceylon, on his first day out, played two swordtish for some time, but lost them.
To-day, Captain W. R. R. Itoo, of London, fishing from the launch Valhalla, caught a mako of 2451b.
