IMMIGRATION BILL OPPOSED.
VISITOR'S UNWANTED ADVICE. CAPETOWN,. Feb. 4. The Jews throughout South Africa are protesting against the Immigration Quota Bill. Colonel Josiah Wedgwood, M.P., Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in the Labour Government of 1924, aud now member for. Newcastle-under-Lyme, .who is visiting the Union, addressed a meeting of Zionists at Capetown, and denounced the bill, .urging the Jews to "stand no nonsense.'*
The newspapers 'severely, robuked him for meddling in South African affairs, and criticising pending legislation.
