Tho management com. aittee of tho Auckland Cricket Associatiou met last evening, tho chairman, Mr. E. E. Nalder, presiding. • j The Auckland Racing Club wrote enclosing a cheque for £75 toward the coach fund, "'he committee decided to write expresmng its appreciation of the club's action. Tho Parnell Club sought permission to Fend teams to Rotorua and Taumarunuii at Easter. The matter was referred to tho country committee. The Waipa Association notified that it had arranged far three matches against an Auckland team at Ea»ter. Messrs. W. A. Duff and H. M. Andrews were appointed umpires. for the Auckland v. M.C.C. match. The committee also submitted the names ■of Messrs. Duff, Andrews and R. E. Turton to tho New Zealand Council as suitable to bo chosen as umpires 1o officiate in the / third test match jit Auckland. The hours' of play for to-day'a matches will be as f0110w5:—9.45 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1.45 p.nT, to 4 p.m., and 4.15 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. 'Tho time of X p.ru/ was fired for the purpose of using a new ball and for declaring an innings closed.
