BUTCHER FOUND DEAD.

SUICIDE BY POISONING.

A verdict of suicide by poisoning was returned by Mr. F. ( K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, at an inquest held yesterday into the death of George Walmsley, butcher, who Avas found dead at his home in Green Lane on January 21. Evidence was given by a neighbour that Walmsley had complained of feeling unwell on the previous Friday and had remarked that he was going to Opotiki, where his wife was staying. Witness had been asked to feed the fowls, and on going over two days later had found Walmsley lying dead.
