FARMER IN THE COURT.

rUKEKOHE, Tuesday. For allowing horses to wander on the road, a farmer of Maramarua, William John Stcon, was prosecuted by the traffic inspector for tho Waikato County Council, Andrew J. Maguire, in the Pukekohe Police Court to-day. Defendant pleaded guilty. Tho inspector said tho horses were on tho road and were blocking the traffic. 1 Defendant said he was away at the time, and tho gate had been left open. He was ordered! to pay costs, 10s,
