HAMILTON NEWS.
The inmates of the Waikato Hospital presented Miss Gladys Denz with a wedding gift last week to show their appreciation of the manner in which she has entertained them on many occasions. In making the presentation, the Rev. E. M. Cowie expressed the thanks of the patients, and wished Miss Denz every happiness and prosperity.
Mrs. Magnus Johnson, of Napier, who has been visiting Auckland, spent the week-end in Hamilton on her return to Napier.
Mrs. E. Samson, of Singapore, has been visiting Hamilton. Mrs. A. McGregor, of Gisborne, is the guest of Mrs. A. J. Hargreaves, of Claudelands.
Mrs. J. Clachan has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Masterton.
Mrs. S. Ronaldson, of Te Kuiti, is visiting her mother, Mrs. John Perr\, of Masterton. Mrs. W. McNickle has returned to Auckland from a visit to Hamilton. Mrs. H. Toombs is spending a holiday at St. Heliers Bay. Mrs. N. Walker, of Auckland, is the guest of Miss N. Roberts, of Tauwhare. Miss Doris Duder, of Auckland is visiting Hamilton. Mrs 11. E. Gaze and family have returned from a holiday at Tapu, Thames Mrs. F. Jolly has returned from a holiday at tho Thames coast. Mrs. H. T. Gillies and her family are staving at Raglan. Mrs. W. Eraser and family have returned to Hamilton from a holiday at the Mount, Tauranga. Miss Lois Hewitt, of Auckland, who has been staving at Tauranga, is now the guest of Mrs. W. Eraser, in Hamilton.
