FATHER'S FATAL ACCIDENT

APPORTIONMENT BY COURT

HAMILTON, Thursday

A motion asking the Court to apportion the compensation received from the Waitomo Electric-Power Board between tho widow and four children of Arthur Newton Williams, who was accidentally electrocuted at Otorohanga on August 17, while employed by the board, wa,s dealt with by the Hamilton Supreme 'Court to-day. Mr. A. B. R. Mossman, counsel for tho widow, and Mr. J. F. Strang, counsel for the children, asked that the amount paid into Court, £ISOO, be allotted in the proportion of one-third for the widow and two-thirds for the children, the children's proportion to bo administered by tho Public Trustee. Mr. E. W. Mackersqy, counsel for the Power Board, agreed, and Mr. Justice Herdman made an order accordingly.
