REMEMBER— That a new-born baby cannot bear strong light. That a new-born baby must have his eyes attended to at once.

That any discharge should be shown to a doctor.

That only boiled water and a sterile swab should be used for cleaning.

That only the outer lids should be cleaned.

That a fresh swab should be used for each eye. That baby must, never lie facing a strong light or reflection. That white canopies and ceilings arc not restful to the eyes.

That baby should not bo allowed to look backward over the top of his head.
