WHITE PAINT.

It is not wise to use too much soap when washing white paint, as it is apt to turn it yellow. Use only the best soap flakes or soap powder. A littlo whitening added to the water cleans the paint and helps to keep it white.' Uso a soft nail brush for headings and carved parts, and sprinkle a little whitening on tho brush. Wash off carefully and dry with a sofi cloth, rubbing in circles to prevent a streaky appearance when dry. Soda should never be used for washing white paint; it takes off tho glossy sur face and turns it vellow.
