HOSPITAL AUXILIARY.
PRESENTATION TO HOSTESS. ITounslow, the home of Mrs. A. Kidd, in Gillies Avenue, was bright with colour yesterday when she entertained over 200 guests at a garden party. The afternoon was given for the members of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary to mark tho close of (heir activities for tho year. The grounds, with their gay profusion of flowers, made a charming setting for the many pretty frocks which were worn The rose garden, tho sunken garden and the rockery were much admired, and iater in the afternoon tea was served at little coloured garden tables, which were arranged in picturesque and secluded I spots in the garden. On behalf of the members of the auxiliary the Mayoress, Mrs. A. D. Campbell, presented Mrs. Kidd with a handsome brass vase as a token of tho regard and esteem in which she was held by her fellow workers. Music supplied by a panatropc added to the pleasure of the occasion. Mrs. Kidd received wearing a frock of Oriental figured georgette and ballibuntal biscuit-coloured hat to tone.
