HOTEL AT TITIRANGI.
CONTRACT LET AT £20,000. The contract for the erection of the Hotel Titirangi at a cost of approximately £20,000 has been let to Mr. P. W. Peate, builder, of Auckland. The work will be put in hand immediately, and it is expected that it will be completed by next August. The building will have centralheating and will have hot and cold water laid on to every bedroom. Five of the 24 bedrooms will have privaf-e bathrooms attached. Associated with the hotel in the same building will be tea-rooms, two shops, a post office and a garage. The beauty of tho surroundings and of the wide sweeping views to be obtained are sure to commend the establishment to public patronage, and it will shortly also have tho advantage of a concrete road all the wav from Auckland.
The architects of tho building are Messrs. Bloomfield, Owen and Morgan, of Auckland.
