INTERESTING EXPERIMENT.

MAY TRAVEL 30 MILES

Australian and N.Z. Press Association. BERLIN. Oct. 10. The German Government has given permission to Professor Oberth to use a lonely spot on the east coast from which to fire an experimental rocket 30 miles toward the sky. The rocket is fitted with astronomical instruments. It will descend by means of a parachute when the propelling charges are exhausted. Professor Oberth Bays he is confident he will obtain important data for the construction of a long-distance rocket.
