FIFTY YEARS AGO.
Sir,—l am pleased to inform vou that I am ono of the passengers by the Jessio Headman, which arrived at Auckland on September 26, 1879. Captain Gibson was a man among men, but he has gone to his long home years ago. I here is anothei passenger living in Auckland. Matthew Patterson.
