CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES. THE FINAL STAGES REACHED.
Tho championship of the Auckland Ladies Coif Club has now reached tho final stage, and tho final will be played next Tuesday between Mies F. Rathboue and Mrs. It. Buttlo. The matches in the semi-finals ■were very closely contested, Miss Rathbono defeating Miss E. Culling, tlio holder, 1 up at tho 19th, and Mrs. Buttlo defeating Mrs. Ferguson 1 up at tho 20th. 11l tho Bomi-iinals of tho junior championship, Mrs. Cox defeated Miss N. Builautyne, 2 and 1, and Mrs. Grant defeated Miss K. Clark, 0 and 1. The final between Mm. Cox and Mrs. Grant will be played next Tuesday. Following \vero tho best scores returned in tho bogey match played yesterday: Seniors: Mrs. Ferguson, all square; Miss I'. Orr, 4 down; Mrs. Henry, tj down. Juniors: Mrs. Rainscr, 3 down.
