TOUR OF AUSTRALIA.
DOMINION TEAM SELECTED. [by telegraph.—press association.] DUNEDIN, Tuesday. Negotiations have been in progress between tho New" Zealand National Union, of Students and the Sydney and Melbourne University Unions with the object of organising a debating tour of Australia by 'a New Zealand team. Through the activities of the union's standing committee for . debating, which is located at Wellington, tho executive of th 6 union has been successful in its object. Tho team, officially designated as representing the union, will be as follows: J, A. Slallworthy (Otago). G, L. McLeod (Otago), and A. E. Hurley {Victoria College). If any of the foregoing are unable to makn the trip Miss C. M. West Watson will be a member. All those selected have had excellent debating careers, and as eight nominations were received from tho different colleges tho task of selection was not easy. '
