PROFESSIONAL BILLIARDS.
LINDRUM PLAYS SMITH.
(Received August 12, 9.-15 p.m.) SYDNEY. Aug. 12. Walter Lindrum (Australia) and Willie Smith (England) began a time-limit billiards match of two sessions daily at the Young Men's Christian Association Hall in Sydney. The game is virtually for tho world's unofficial championship. Eaoh mail already has one match to his credit.
SWIMMING AT HONOLULU. MISS McKIM THE CHAMPION. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. HONOLULU, A us. 11. At tho swimming tournament. Miss Agnes Geraghty, of tho Women's Swimming Association of New YorU, won tho 220 yds breast stroke in 3m 17s. Miss Josephine MeKim was awarded the all-round championship medal. She scored 15 points, and won three events. In tho 300 yds international medley relay race tho East. Coast leant, Misses Holm, Geraghty and Lambert, won. The West Coast team, Misses Oilman, Geratti and Hatch, was second, the Hawaii team third, and tho Japanese team fourth. Time, dm 14.5.
