SUCCESS OF HAMILTON BAND.

The fourth annual mooting of the Hamilton Caledonian Society was held last evening, Mr. J Cameron presiding. The committee's report showed that a very successful season had been experienced. The membership had considerably increased.
Tho band had been equipped with new uniforms, and had done much to promote a greater appreciation of pipe music. A strong financial position was disclosed in tho balance-sheet.
In appreciation of her work as an accompanist, the president presented Miss Vera Wliitlock with a silver manicure set. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted: —Patron, Mr. J. S. Paget; chief, Mr. 11. McCrae; chieftains, Messrs. J. Taylor. G. McKonzio, J. Cameron; pipemajor, Mr. S. Clothier; secretary, Mr. T. C. McDonald; treasurer, Mr L. H. Cameron; committee, Messrs. S. Rogerson, O. Moss, M. Watt, S. I'aget, W. Miller, W. Mackie, J. Clements; lion, accompanist, Miss Vera' Wliitlock; Jiuditor, Mr. W. Glover.
