progress of building. This year has seen a considerable advance in the building of the now Nelson Cathedral. Tho arched doorways of the main south entrance and t.ljQ window pierced-east and west walls of the nave—tho portion of tho cathedral at present under construction —nro completed. Tim beauty of lino that will distinguish the completed structure—the pure modern Gothic—can now bo appreciated. The lofty windows and arches of the mail, south entrance, supported on polished shafts, give the visitor ft marked impression of dignity. Tho builders expect to complete the present contracts before the cud of tho year.
