TWO MOTOR-CARS STOLEN.
ONE PUSHED OVER CLIFF.
FOUND WRECKED AT ORAKEI
Stolen from lvarangahape Road on Thursday evening, a five-seater motor-car, valued at £2OO, was found wrecked at the foot of a cliff on the Waterfront Road, Orakei, yesterday morning.
The car, which was owned by Mr. Charles Edward Ward, of Richmond Road, Fonsonby, was left in Karangahape Road at 7.30 o'clock and when tlio owner returned at 10.30 the car was missing. Early yesterday morning it was found by Mr. Newman, timekeeper at the Public Works camp at Orakei, at the bottom of a cliff 80ft- hifih. It appeared as though the car bail been abandoned and pushed over the drop, as there were no signs of any occupants.
Another car, which was left by the owner, Mr. J. Fitzgerald, of Mount AlbertRoad, in Buckland's Road at the. E-ame time was also taken, but was returned yesterday to the place from which it was removed. It was not damaged.
