POLICE SUSPENDED.
ACTION BY SCOTLAND YARD. INQUIRY INTO CHARGES. Australian Press Association—United Service LONDON, May 22. The Scotland Yard authorities have issued the following official statement: As a result of certain allegations two police sergeant 3 and two constables attached to certain stations in 0 Division have been suspended, pending inquiries.
It. is understood that the suspension follows allegations in connection with the patrolling of certain streets in the West End and in the neighbourhood of Soho.
