A -SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHAKATANE, Thursday. The Bay of Plenty Winter Show was continued to-day in fine weather. Several hundred people attended from all parts of the district. The splendid root crops, especially mangels, and the pumpkins are an outstanding feature of the exhibition, while the trado exhibits are exceptionally good. Good exhibits of butter and cheese are also shown. Plenty of entertainment is being provided, and large attendances are expected to-morrow and Saturday.
