BRIDGE PARTY.
Miss M. E. Bews and Miss A. Bews' were hostesses at .1 successful card evening given at their residence, Beverley, Huapai, on Wednesday, in aid of the St. Chad's Church of England funds. Bridge and flag five hundred were played, the winners being Miss M. Hill. Mr. Block, Mr. R. Harris, Mr. Parton and Mr. S. Kinloch. There were over 70 guests present, among them being Rev. Hill Johnson (Helensvillc), Mrs. .4. E. Hill, Mrs. Burr, Mrs Dane, Mrs. R. Harris, Mrs. Shutes, Mrs. Brock (Helens ville), Mrs. Hunt, Mrs. Hill. Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Bull, Mrs. Pcarce.
