WORLD'S SUGAR CRISIS.
PROPOSED COMMISSION. STIMULATION OF CONSUMPTION. Australian and X.Z. Press Association. (Received May 10, 9.5 p.m.) GENEVA, May 10. As a result of an investigation of what is termed the world's sugar crisis, a proposal is afoot at the Economic Conference to create an international commission. The object is to stimulate the consumption of sugar as an antidote to the existence of depression in the industry. It is tacitly acknowledged that any attempt to regulate production and export Ly international means would be futile.
