NOSES THAT REDDEN.

GENTLE TREATMENT. Noses that tend to redden easily should be given a regular beauty treatment of a hardening nature, for the redness indicates lack of tone, and the skin and circulation of the part need bracing. Every night the nose should lie bathed gently with cotton wool steeped in very hot water containing a few grains of alum.

After bathing tho offending member should be firmly rubbed, stroked and even gently pinched till it glows. Then massago well with a cream containing almond oil, lemon juice and glycerine and leave on all night. In the morning bathe well with cold water and follow by an application of astringent lotion. i3eforo going into cold air apply a thin film of pure cold cream, not vanishing cream, and powder as thickly as possible.
