YOUR SLEEP.

ITS IMPORTANCE. Many distinguished figures in history, mostly soldiers, have been remarkable for their ability to do with little sleep. One often reads that these same people have the gift of falling asleep at any time, and in any circumstance. It is, therefore, not assuming too much to think that, although they may not have had long periods of continuous sleep, a necessary amount bf it has been obtained. About eight hours' sleep is a fair amount to aim at in the day, and if it cannot be procured all at once efforts should be made to make it up piecemeal.

Sleep is essential to health, and violalion of this law over any prolonged period of time brings Nature's retribution in the form of many varieties of troubles.
