CHURCH OF ENGLAND.
MEN'S SOCIETY WORK. The annual meeting of tho Church of England Men's Society was hold in St. Matthew's schoolroom, Hobson Street, on Thursday evening, Archbishop Averill presiding. Tho meeting, was preceded by a men's service in St. Matthew's Church, at which the Archbishop preached. The annual report of tho society dealt with its activities during tho past year and indicated tho useful work being done in both church and city social life. The following officers wero appointed:—Executive, Canon Grant Cowen, Revs. 11. R. Hobday and A. J. Beck, Messrs. G. T. Zohrab, E. C. Thomas, A. H. Fletcher, «T. T. Williams, A. Coles,, W. H. Brabant, G. Jillings, A. E. Harrison, A. Good, C. Lindesay and W. ST. Kayne.r; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. M. Itayner*
