PROGRESS AT MAUNGATUROTO [bv TELEGKAI'H. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J WHANGAREI, Friday. Representations for a new courthouse ft Maungaturoto were made to 'the Government by Mr. A. J. Murdoch, M.l\, recently, and this morning a telegram was received from the Minister of Justice, Hon. T. M. Wilford, stating that Cabinet had authorised the construction of the building, and the work would be commenced almost immediately. 'J he new structure will be erected on ft section donated by the residents of Maungaturoto.
